Subject: Incomplete Recording, Bad Sound
A shame that this show is incomplete and sounds as bad as it does, because the band play well here, and Billy seems to break from his usual antagonistic stage persona, and actually has some good rapport with the crowd. The band are playing at a small club, and Billy sounds like he's enjoying himself. The rant in I Am One features some interesting comments from Billy, where he plays to the audience, mentioning "And no barricades can come between us, and no fucking small club can come between us" and "I'm stupid just like you". This is a funny shift in persona from what he had been displaying at other gigs on the tour. Maybe it was the fact that the band was playing in such a small club, without the pressure and disconnect of the larger venues? For a funny improv, the ending line of Geek USA is changed again at this show. Whereas the version of the song at Santa Barbara a few days earlier featured the first appearance of the ending line "I fucking hate the USA", the ending line tonight has been switched to "We really fuck the USA".

Notes

-terrible recording
-Drown cuts
